Poem by Edén Eden Soriano Trinidad
Melancholia
By Eden Soriano Trinidad
A ray of sadness depicted in her shades
The melodious song lost its rhythmic pattern
Innocent eyes filled with unshed tears
The heart lost its flutter
disappeared in the forest noise of this world
Materialistic life creates more junks
of life they made us live for them
Smiling buds of a gum tree
smiling dispiritedly
Thee will I perish, touch me not.

ReplyDeleteI sensed no trouble
as people struggled
to stay in the materialistic world
with the sufferings untold
life smiled sometimes
and made sad all the times
with no hope of recovering at last
the ray of hope did not fade away fast
sometimes we think hell is fallen over head
and feel dumb and dead
the life didn't stop here
and cause more fears
life is meant to make inroad
share the grief and load
with clear intent to counter
and make it smoother
let people get involved in material drive
and survive
in an illusory world
but I have been told "no"
Life may smile again
with no more pain
along with the solution I had asked
the future journey shall definitely be openly tasked
