DAY AND NIGHT

I lived through the ages,
with a lust for life,
a kind of animosity within,
to start it all,
and a strange duel of conflict and unity,
that we always have had,
between Nature and us,
passing through the countless hurdles,
but at times,
the entire mankind is put at stake.
As day follows every dark night,
with a new beginning
and the next chance,
you need to work for all your needs,
with the uncompromised support,
that Nature has been providing,
expected to have grown as a human being,
but at times turning to be inhuman.
The contradictions of,
ideal life and a practical one,
make us resort to unfair means,
selfish to gain it all for oneself,
never to be heeding to warning bells.
The journey shall never stop though,
for, we are always in the learning mode,
through the ups and downs,
with several wounds and pains,
facing all the miseries and disasters,
when day dreams are compensated
by the once at night,
life is ever ready to take a u turn,
giving us strength to face,
every challenge on this battlefield,
we are here to stay
and shall stand tall at the very end. N
